As I was running extremely late to get to the Dr's office for an appointment, I realized I was in the wrong lane seconds before I was going to miss my exit. I had on my turn signal, all I asked for was one of the fast moving cars to show me a little bit of grace, and allow me to get over into the correct lane.
As I pulled into a parking space, ran into the building, up the stairs, and to the check in counter, I prayed that the receptionist would show me a little bit of grace, and still allow for me to be seen, knowing I was 15-minutes late. She did!
What I realized, is that, sometimes in order for us to get grace, we have to give grace. The reciprocation of this process allows both parties to walk away blessed with the fact that grace was shown and grace was given.
Where in your life might you be able to show a little bit of grace? When in your life has someone shown you a little bit of grace? As I write this blog post, I smile, because I realize that when we are shown grace, there is a load that is lifted. I find myself to be lighter, happier, and freer to move forward in a way in which I was not able to prior.
May you walk through your days being granted a little bit of grace and may you also grant a little bit of grace to those, who need it, when you encounter them.
Blessings and positive light!
