I recently posted a picture on my Facebook biz page. It was a picture I had taken from the airplane on a trip to Denver. I remember a time when I used to be afraid to fly. Okay, who am I kidding. I'm still not a fan, however, I realize a 4-hour cross country flight sounds way better than a two or three day trip cross country in a car. Although, I must say, stopping in random towns, checking out the scenery, and talking to complete strangers along the way does sound adventurous and fun.
So, when I was thinking about this blogpost, several thoughts came to mind. The first is, I wonder how many people see this picture as an adventure and I wonder how many people see this as an accident waiting to happen and are totally freaked out about the sky view.
Perspective is the word of the day. Dependent upon your perspective, your response will be one way or the other. What stirs up on the inside? Do you feel giddy, excited and happy bubbles? Or maybe you feel a bit anxious, tense, and down right ready to run in the other direction.
We will all face situations in our lives in which we will see them either as a challenge and adventure or as a fear and anxiety provoking challenge for us to test out our inner running man. Just know, that without a little bit of faith and courage, your ship may never sail its designed course. You must have the courage and muster up the strength to dig deep, stand tall, and move forward with confidence. You can do it! I'm here to encourage you. Go, Fight, Win!
